Surrey: the future lives here

A growing neighbourhood

The fastest growing and most talked-about city in BC, Surrey welcomes 800 new residents every month. With growth comes transformation, and Surrey City Centre has quickly become the lively, transit-oriented hub south of the Fraser.

Access to nature

With over 6,000 acres of parkland interlaced with 100km of trails, Surrey is home to a great variety of accessible outdoor spaces. It has everything from forested trails at Green Timbers Urban Forest, shoreline access at Blackie Spit Park, and landscaped playgrounds and sports fields at Holland Park - in Surrey there is an outdoor space to satisfy every leisure enthusiast.

Getting around

Situated between the Fraser River and the US border, Surrey is the geographical centre of the Lower Mainland, which makes it the perfect starting point for any trip or commute. From Surrey, it's just a 40 minute SkyTrain ride into downtown Vancouver from any of four stations. And a future transit line is coming to connect Surrey's growing neighbourhoods with its urban centre, paving the way for continued, thoughtful growth.
